Skin Drugs & Medications Center

Many drugs are used to treat skin conditions. Corticosteroids reduce inflammation while antihistamines lessen itchiness. Coal tar may be used to treat psoriasis and various forms of eczema. Other drugs that treat the skin include antibiotics, antifungal agents, antimalarial agents, antiparasitic agents or antiviral agents, immunosuppressants, vitamin D analogs, and DMARDs.
